Practiced for thousands of years, yoga was developed to foster a deep spiritual connection, uniting the body, mind, and spirit into a cohesive, balanced being. The physical practice uses postures and breathing exercises to align the physical and energetic bodies, removing blockages, releasing tension, and creating flexibility and strength of body and mind.
Most classes offered are 60 minutes in length. Arrive 5-15 minutes early to give yourself time to find your space and prepare for class. Yoga classes are done without shoes or socks, but please note for the Weekend Warrior Flow class we do wear shoes as this class features higher intensity exercises, cardio, and weights. Additionally, my baby does join us for most classes. Sometimes she sleeps, sometimes she lays there and coos, and sometimes she nurses when she gets a little fussy, but she does not get too loud even when upset.
